Board and Officers
NMTA’s Officers are: Garth Simms, President, Abenicio Sisneros, Vice President and Ryan Cangiolosi, Secretary/Treasurer.
NMTA’s Board of Directors is composed of:
Ryan Cangiolosi. Mr. Cangiolosi lives in Albuquerque. He is currently the business manager at Jalapeno Corporation and prior to joining Jalapeno Corporation he was a Recruiting Manager with Robert Half International. Additionally, Mr. Cangiolosi is a reserve officer in the United States Navy and the owner a local audio recording company. Mr. Cangiolosi is a graduate of UNM with a B.A. and an M.B.A, with a concentration on Policy and Planning. Mr. Cangiolosi is very involved in politics here in New Mexico and also a graduate of Leadership New Mexico’s CONNECT program. Mr. Cangiolosi is widely traveled, having taught and trained in Russia, Mexico, Ghana and Kenya.
Neil Hise. Mr. Hise lives in Placitas. He is the President of Cemco, Inc., which is the manufacturer of rock crushers and crop thinning equipment. Cemco is a custom manufacturer as well. Mr. Hise majored in civil engineering at the University of New Mexico and is the holder of multiple patents. He is a former member of the United States Navy and is a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Hise is an Executive Board Member of NSSGA, and is a past Chairman of its Manufacturing & Services section. Additionally, Mr. Hise holds a commercial pilot’s license and has piloted multiple “mercy” missions. He is consistently involved with community activities ranging from School to Work at Bernalillo High School to Angel Flight West to Cemco’s own Scholarship Program.
Garth Simms. Mr. Simms lives in Albuquerque. He is a former member of the New Mexico State House (HD-28, 1983 to 1994). He is the Executive Director of New Mexico Council of Outfitters and Guides. He, for years, represented the National Federation of Independent Business in New Mexico. He is a graduate of TCU with a B.A. in International Affairs. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Adelante Now, a nonprofit corporation focusing on improving education in New Mexico. Mr. Simms was the initial incorporator of NMTA.
Martin Sisneros. Mr. Sisneros lives in Rio Communities, near Belen. He is President of Sisneros Brothers, Mfg. and was Chairman of the Board of My Bank, both of which are headquartered in Belen. Mr. Sisneros gained an Associates Degree in Construction Technology from UNM. He served in the United States Army. He is a past president of the Valencia County Hispano Chamber of Commerce and has served on multiple other boards and commissions. He is a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and was chairman of its new parish hall building committee.
